This is an excellent tutorial for runnig GBox on DvbCards. I, as a newcomer in dvb world, recommend it to everyone who wants to learn Gbox.

But there are a few issues to be taught about finding a server for Gbox which I do ask "mijami" to explain to me and others who want to know:

1. what is distance and what are the card numbers that servers provide (for example: dist1:85)?

2. Must we have any plugin other than GBoxplugin (such as vplug, softcam, emu,...) for using recieved keys from the server?

1 . if anyone give you local card from his box , that card is dis1 to you for watch and number 85 means the server ''see'' 85 local cards ...

2 . no . emulator is using when have no gbox ...

i use the tutorail and i have more questions;

I have my M line
I have a D line from a seeder.

Problem with open ports : UDP is open, firewall in VISTA and BOX internet OPEN
Not detected with software OPEN PORTS

In software TEST PORTS UDP open but's IP =0.0.0.0 and not ALTDVB detects

But's i have more problem :

In gbox plugin, he runs but's always in red

I received this always
Sending ---> Hello to xxxxx (i mask the names sorry but's i hav not authorithed)
Sending ---> Hello to xxxxx
Sending ---> Hello to xxxxx
Sending ---> Hello to xxxxx
Ok, we are still online, our IP XXX.XXX.XXX

And nothing.....

Any can help me?

Great Tutorial!

I have only one Question: do I need inet and Dyndns Account for local (home) cardsharring or can I make it without that? I have 3 PCs, one Infinity USB Unlimited Cardreader, one card, LAN and no Internet (only analog modem V90).If yes, how far the Config for Server and Clients is different?
